We envision Long Weekend as a premier destination where family, food, live entertainment and sports converge. The concept features an expansive outdoor area for children to play, giving parents the freedom to socialize over craft cocktails and elevated wood-fired meals. Thoughtfully curated decor evokes the spirit of Western heritage—honoring ranching culture and cowboy traditions, with nods to country living and the all-American love of sports; while regular performances by country music artists unite the community and enhance the immersive experience.

Long Weekend Café
Our sunny café serves up comforting breakfast and lunch favorites—perfect for a quick bite on the go or a leisurely morning with friends. While you sip your coffee and ease into the day, little ones can explore their imaginations in our Creative Canyon, a hands-on arts and crafts space full of western-themed fun. The Creative Canyon is nestled inside our Café—a vibrant, hands-on arts and crafts zone where kids can let their imaginations run wild while parents relax with a fresh coffee and a bite to eat. It’s the perfect blend of fun for the little ones and a well-earned break for the grown-ups.
Main Restaurant
Grab a seat in our dining room for the real western experience. Watch the action unfold at our open wood-fired grill, catch the game from every angle, or enjoy handcrafted cocktails mixed just right by our expert bar team. The Yard is our riverside outdoor hangout—set beneath the oak trees and open to the stars. With large picnic tables, cozy firepits, and massive TV screens, it’s the perfect spot to host events morning or night. The Stage
This is where the live music plays and the good times roll—year-round. From local bands to special events, this stage is the heartbeat of Long Weekend, bringing energy, entertainment, and unforgettable memories in every season.
Outdoor Play Area
The largest outdoor play area of any restaurant in Houston! Kids will love exploring our Western-themed playground, complete with giant slides, climbing walls, swings, and nature-inspired play equipment designed for all ages. Parents can kick back with a cold drink while the little ones burn energy in a safe, exciting environment. Plus, there’s a wide-open greenspace perfect for running, playing, and letting imaginations roam free.
OUR STORY
Long Weekend was inspired by our owner’s family ranch in New Mexico. The ranch hosts an annual Trail Ride, where cowboys from neighboring ranches, families, and friends come together to camp, ride horses, and experience authentic cowboy culture.
The culture of ranching is centered around family. Sharing hearty meals, stories, and spending time connecting is the backbone of the ranch lifestyle. Long Weekend is a place where people can enjoy nutritious meals while letting kids play with other children, rather than relying on technology to occupy them.
